Between Capo Ferrato and Castiadas
The Costa Rei coastline, which stretches for several kilometres in the Sarrabus sub-region, besides being considered the longest sandy stretch of coastline in south-eastern Sardinia, is counted among the most beautiful and authentic destinations on the island, thanks to the beautiful coves and dream beaches that follow one another among the promontories, lush Mediterranean maquis and excellent tourist services in the main coastal resorts.
The beaches one can visit while staying in this corner of paradise, such as Scoglio di Peppino and Capo Ferrato, are countless and include the territories of Villaptzu, Muravera, Castiadas and Villasimius. These shores are all characterised by gently sloping seabeds, white sand and transparent waters of a thousand shades of blue, perfect especially for families with children.
The backdrop to these picture-postcard scenery is the green hills and the Sette Fratelli Park, perfect for wonderful walks along the vegetation-covered paths and the fertile agricultural area where some of Sardinia’s best-known organic food products are cultivated.
